Reports indicate that Megan Thee Stallion is pursuing a restraining order against Tory Lanez.
The rapper alleges that Tory has continued to “terrorize her,” orchestrating a “campaign of harassment” despite serving 10 years in prison for shooting her. In a legal filing submitted on Tuesday, Megan’s lawyers claimed that Tory has colluded with his non-incarcerated associates in an attempt to “harass, bully, and antagonize” her. They also alleged that his peers have spread false narratives due to his “desperate” 2022 appeal for his charges, which were denied.
Megan’s attorneys stated, “Mr. Peterson’s attempts to retraumatize and revictimize Ms. Pete recognize no limits — indeed, they continue even while he is behind bars.” “While Mr. Peterson distorts and recklessly disregards the truth in his desperate attempt to appeal his conviction, his false assertions have reignited a slew of negative, harmful, and defamatory comments directed to Ms. Pete.”
Megan’s Lawsuit Ties Secret Calls and Financial Deals to Influencer Gramz
The lawsuit circled back to a prior legal filing Megan pursued in October against the YouTuber and influencer Milagro Gramz, who asserts that he acted as a “mouthpiece and puppet” for the Ontario native. After updating the case last week, Megan claimed that the two held prison phone calls discussing Gramz using his platform to spew misinformation. The rapper’s legal team said, “Mr. Peterson’s father—when he thought no one was listening—asked his son about payments to Ms. Cooper for her harassment of Ms. Pete.” “Instead of denying that Ms. Cooper has been paid, they question how Ms. Pete uncovered their conspiracy.”
If the motion proceeds, the request would instantly restrain Tory from any form of harassment. According to the court documents, Megan’s attorneys proposed that Tory be “ordered not to contact Ms. Pete, directly or indirectly, or harass or intimidate her, directly or indirectly, online.”
