Reports confirm Heinz and Mustard are teaming up to release a new mustard-based condiment later this year—their first in about a decade. There’s no set launch date, but considering mustard is a summer BBQ staple, it could hit shelves in time for grilling season. The ad is also expected to run during the Super Bowl on February 9th.

This is just another win for Mustard, fresh off Lamar’s multiple GRAMMY wins last night—thanks in part to his production on “Not Like Us.”

“He played me a snippet before it dropped,” Mustard revealed, recalling how Lamar shared the track during the “Not Like Us” video shoot. “I asked him, ‘Man, what made you do that?’ And he told me, ‘When I heard the beat, I just felt like Goku or something.’” For those unfamiliar, Goku is the central hero of the legendary Dragon Ball manga series.

Mustard admitted he was caught off guard by the comparison. “I was like, ‘What?’ And Kendrick explained, ‘Yeah, when I hear certain stuff in your beats, it brings out something different in me. So I just went with what I felt.’ I thought, ‘Wow, that’s wild.’”

There’s my rollout.” Prior to their collaboration, Mustard revealed he’d waited a long time to work with Lamar. “I’ve been literally trying to get a song with him for years… Before I even made that beat, I got to a point where I was like, ‘I’m gonna send five beats a day.’ I maybe sent him five beats a day for maybe three months.” That said looking at his first week’s sales, it doesn’t seem that it worked out too well for him.

This latest release marks a reunion between Mustard and Ricch, five years after their first collaboration. Mustard exposes longtime Drake producer Boi-1da for saying unflattering things about West Coast Hip-Hop. The drama unfolded Monday when Mustard shared screenshots of Boi-1da’s Instagram messages, where the Toronto producer bluntly declared, “West Coast rap is ass.” The comment struck a nerve, with Mustard comparing it to dismissive nonsense, calling out the insult as utterly baseless.

Boi-1da doubled down on his critique, dismissing Mustard’s defense that West Coast music needs to be experienced in its natural environment to be fully appreciated. According to Boi-1da, the sound doesn’t resonate beyond Los Angeles.

According to TMZ,  Mustard is on the hook for $24,500, which is considerably less than the $82,000 a month Thierry requested during the court proceedings.

While he agrees to pay child support,  Mustard gets to keep all of his property, house, jewelry, and will maintain the rights to his lucrative music catalog. Additionally, he retains his fleet of luxury cars which includes a 2022 Maybach Benz, a 2018 Lamborghini Aventador, a 2022 Cadillac Escalade, a 2019 Lamborghini Urus, and a 2022 Rolls-Royce Cullinan. He also owns a classic 1960 Chevy Impala.

The court also ordered Thierry to pay half of their children’s school and medical expenses. Mustard consented to pay for all of the children’s extracurricular activities.

Per the terms of their prenuptial agreement, Thierry was paid a one-time lumpsome payment of $315,000. She will not receive any additional spousal support.

Mustard and Thierry had been together since they were 19 years old. They were engaged in 2018 and married in 2020.

After their separation, they filed for divorce in May of 202s. Last year, the separation got ugly as both parties made allegations against the other on social media. On Threads, Thierry claimed that Mustard would not let her see their children during the Christmas holidays.

“Imagine not allowing a mother to see her kids on Christmas for the second year in the row is NASTY WORK,” she wrote. “Especially after they already expected to see her. Some of these men are more bitter then they appear. A true [clown emoji]. Bitter at this point is an understatement.”

Mustard and Thierry will share joint legal custody of the children.

In an interview with PEOPLE,  Mustard first made the track in 2019 and shared it with YG and Quavo who passed on it. Also, Ty Dolla $ign recorded a song to the track but Mustard decided to go another way.

“I played it for YG … I was trying to make a West Coast version of ‘Grindin’.’ That’s why it’s so empty like that,” Mustard said. “That’s why it’s just weird sounds. [H]e didn’t end up doing it.”

“After YG, And I played it for Quavo and I’m like, ‘Quavo man if you get this, if you can connect to this song, I’m telling you,’ he’s like, ‘What the hell you want me to do to it? You want me to whisper on the beat?’ And I’m like, ‘Alright.’ So I didn’t force it on him,” he continued.

Mustard noted that Kendrick got his hands on the track but he didn’t get to hear the finished product until the “Not Like Us” video shoot.

“I was talking to Kendrick one day and I was just like, ‘Man, I got this really weird-ass beat, but I really love it. Like, I know that I love this beat,” he explained. “And I sent it to him and right away he said, ‘Oh yeah, I got it.’ And I was like, ‘Alright.’ But still, I hadn’t heard it until I went to the ‘Not Like Us’ video shoot.”

Eventually, “Hey Now” peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. 

Mustard also spoke about the impact of “Not Like Us” which is nominated for five Grammy Awards including “Song of the Year.”

“I just feel like all this sh*t I got to attribute to God,” Mustard said. “I’ve won a Grammy with Ella. I’ve been nominated for Grammys. I’ve had years of runs and I would think, ‘Maybe I’ll get a nomination here or there.’ So for this to come right now it’s just like, ‘Oh, sh*t. OK.’ It’s just time, man. Everything happens for a reason.”

“Although I wasn’t planning on saying anything, I fought hard not to be silenced,” Thierry wrote in a candid post on Threads. “The ruling happened back in July, but now, as soon as I return the car to its owner, my business is splashed all over the blogs. I know this is public information, but the timing is convenient.”

Mustard was directly accused of pettiness by her. “I knew you’d be petty enough to let everyone know you ‘took the car’ and made it seem like my back child support was payment for the car. It wasn’t. That’s just back child support.”

As first reported by TMZ, the couple will share joint legal custody of their three children. Mustard was ordered to pay over $24,500 per month in child support. Thierry will also receive a one-time spousal support payment of $315,000, plus an additional lump sum of $275,000.

Thierry expressed frustration over what she perceives as a long-standing campaign to tarnish her image. “For two years, your PR team dragged me through the mud to make me look bad, and you’re still doing it! Please stop using me for your publicity and record sales. After he filed for divorce in May 2022, he ‘claimed’ to have cancer to keep me in the house. I left in July. There was no cancer.”

Accompanying her post were screenshots of alleged texts from Mustard, where he said, “You should know how hard cancer is for me. I feel lost and helpless.” Another message read, “Who would do that to someone who could have cancer?”

In the divorce settlement, Mustard retained a lavish collection of assets, including a 2022 Cadillac Escalade, a 2022 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a 2022 Maybach, a 2018 Lamborghini Aventador, a 2019 Lamborghini Urus, a 1960 Chevy Impala, and four motorcycles. He also owned their Chatsworth mansion and several other properties in Los Angeles.
