Kanye West is facing legal trouble after making crude and defamatory claims about Taylor Swift’s sex life in a recent online rant. The posts, which went viral on April 10th, accused Swift of being intimate with Justin Bieber and Harry Styles, a claim he insisted was “ONE THOUSAND PERCENT TRUE.” The backlash was immediate, and now Swift has reportedly fired back.
According to the Daily Mail, the pop icon has issued a cease and desist letter to West, calling his posts “false, defamatory, and amounting to sexual harassment.” A source told the outlet, “This isn’t just [West] gossiping. This is [West] sexually harassing a woman, defaming her and intending to cause harm to her and to her career.”
The fallout continues to grow. Sources say Swift’s boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, is furious and wants to confront West directly. Meanwhile, reps for both Bieber and Styles have allegedly denied the claims, though none of the accused parties have issued public statements. West, too, has remained silent about the legal notice.
This latest episode reignites a long-running feud between Swift and West, a feud that’s spanned more than a decade. Most recently, fans believed Swift threw subtle shade last year when she altered the stylization of her album The Tortured Poets Department to highlight the letters “Y” and “E,” seemingly referencing West. Another version of the title even highlighted “KIM,” hinting at his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
While Swift hasn’t spoken publicly about West’s latest rant, the legal response makes it clear she’s not taking it lightly. What started as another bizarre outburst from West could now have serious consequences.
