In 2019, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie made his second Summer Jam appearance, hitting the MetLife Stadium stage once again with undeniable momentum. Riding high off the success of his chart-topping album Hoodie SZN, he delivered a standout set packed with fan favorites like “Swervin,” “Jungle,” and “Look Back at It.”

He returned in 2021 as Summer Jam made its post-pandemic comeback, performing alongside DaBaby, Migos, Swizz Beatz, and during a powerful DMX tribute. Each time, A Boogie reminded the crowd that he’s built for moments like this.

Now in 2025, he’s bringing that same unmatched energy to the Prudential Center stage for what will be his fourth Summer Jam performance.

Since his 2016 breakout mixtape Artist, A Boogie has become one of New York’s most impactful voices. Over the years, his albums Hoodie SZN, Artist 2.0, and Me vs. Myself have delivered hit after hit. Tracks like “Look Back at It,” “Drowning,” and “Mood Swings” showcase his unique ability to blend pain, confidence, and melody. No one else does it quite like him. As he once put it, “My music is really based off emotion. I treat the booth like my therapy.”

In recent years, he’s linked up with Roddy Ricch, Kodak Black, and Mariah the Scientist. He continues to evolve while keeping his signature edge. Tracks like “Her Birthday” and “Steppas” keep his name on fire. With a new album, Better Off Alone, on the way, he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

Off stage, he’s a father of two. On stage, he’s a problem. With billions of streams and a global fanbase, A Boogie is one of the most consistent hitmakers of his generation.

Summer Jam 2025 is about to feel like a Bronx block party. A Boogie is coming home, again, and the city is ready.

Footage from the scene shows his car in pieces, with the front bumper and hood completely torn off.His team confirmed the accident to the outlet. However, no further details about the cause or other vehicles involved have been released. The crash looked severe. However, the 29-year-old didn’t require medical attention. He was able to head home without any major injuries.

50 Cent, never one to miss a moment, reacted to the news with his signature humor. He joked on Instagram about how A Boogie’s wrecked Ferrari might have been a flex gone wrong.

“The young [ninja]’s in NY glad he wrapped that shit, they be like [thinking face emoji] yo why @aboogievsartist tried to pull-up on us all crazy in the Ferrari and shit. how much them shits cost, 500K after tax [face with steam from nose emoji] I hope they can’t fix it. LOL,” he wrote, adding, “He good Tho!”

The Bronx rapper teamed up with Sei Less restaurant co-owner Dara Mirjahangiry to spread some holiday cheer. They hosted 50 teenagers from Children of Promise, NYC with a special Thanksgiving dinner held at the restaurant.  

With holoidayds around the corner, the purpose of the dinner was to support the mission of Children of Promise, NYC. Since 2009, the organization has been dedicated to empowering youth and dismantling the stigma of incarceration within Black and Brown communities.” It also gave the teenagers a memory they’ll never forget.

While the Asian fusion meal was amazing, A Boogie’s surprise appearance was the highlight of the evening. The “Still Think About You” rapper spent time with teens over dinner and posed for photos.  Alongside Mirjahangiry, A Boogie showed the teens, who are facing big challenges, the power of hope and community.

In a statement, A Boogie expressed his gratitude for being present at the event,

“Giving back to my community, especially bringing joy to these kids who’ve been impacted by the criminal justice system meant so much. Thanks to Sei Less and Dara, we partnered up with Children of Promise to connect with these amazing kids,” said A Boogie. “Hearing their stories reminds me why it’s so important to be thankful for what you have. I’m grateful to have played a part in bringing smiles to their faces this holiday season.” 

Mirjahangiry and his team made sure to offer the teens an elite dining experience. As one of the go-to spots in New York, the menu included chicken satay, vegetable lo mein, and Beijing chicken.
