The Wu-Tang Clan are heading on the road for more tours.
On Monday (February 24), the iconic group announced that the Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber tour will commence this summer at arenas throughout North America. The highly-anticipated tour will celebrate “the depth and breadth of the iconic group’s deep catalog.” Major hits from their debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) as well as their Grammy-nominated second album Wu-Tang Forever, will be performed live. Run the Jewels will be joining the group as the opening act.
The Final Chamber Tour begins on June 6, in Baltimore, Maryland, and will include stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, New York, and Toronto, The tour concludes on July 18 in Philadelphia.
In a statement, the RZA expressed how special the tour will be.
“Wu-Tang Clan has shown the world many chambers throughout our career; this tour is called The Final Chamber. This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture. Most importantly to touch our fans and those who have supported us throughout the years,” the RZA said.
“On this tour, we’re playing songs we’ve never played before to our audience and me and our production team have designed a Wu-Tang show unlike anything you’ve ever seen,” he continued. “ And to top it off we’ve got the amazing Run the Jewels on our side.”
In addition to the tour, the Clan announced in early February that their new album, Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman From The, Wu-Tang, The Saga Continues Collection, is dropping in April. Featuring all the Clan members, the project is entirely produced by Mathematics, a longtime Wu affiliate.
Also on Monday, the Wu is releasing a time-only 180g 12” LP of a live performance that took place during Clan’s “NY State of Mind Tour” in 2023 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.
