Connie Boss Alexander, the mother of Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ fears that Allison Holker’s memoir could tarnish her late son’s legacy.
In an upcoming interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, allegations in Holker’s book This Far are extremely concerning for Alexander.
“I’m not saying that my son was perfect,” she said in a preview clip. “I do believe he had experiences where he tried this, that, or the other. But no, I don’t believe that there was that type of issue, that type of problem.”
“I applaud speaking about mental health awareness because of course there was something going on there at the end that we were not aware of,” she continued. “I applaud that. If that was the intent of the book to make people aware, look out for these types of signs, there’s a way to say that in general without denigrating the memory and the legacy that he built and that’s there for his children.”
Alexander also feels like “there’s now this question in the air when his name comes up and that bothers me.”
Back In January, Holker revealed personal details about her husband in her memoir. She claimed that she found a “cornucopia” of drugs which included mushrooms, pills, and “other substances” in tWitch’s belongings. Following her disclosures, she would offer an apology on her Instagram Story, noting that her “only intention” was to “share my own story as well as part of my life with Stephen.”
“Just like you, I never really knew what happened and even as I am trying to put the pieces together, I will never really know,” she added.
On December 13, 2022, Boss died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the Oak Tree Inn motel in Encino, California.
Along with Holker, he left an 8-year-old son, Maddox, a 4-year-old daughter, Zaia, and 16-year-old Weslie Renae, Holker’s daughter who he adopted.
