Coco Jones is planning to have a big 2025.
The Grammy Award winner has announced the release date of her debut album Why Not More. Set to drop on April 25, the album features her newly released lead single “Taste.”
Produced by Stargate and Jasper Harris, “Taste” is described “as being about infatuation and attraction, and setting the tone for the remainder of the year.” Another bop for sure, the hot track samples Brittany Spears’ 2003 classic track “Toxic” but Coco makes it all her own.
During an appearance on the Red Carpet at the 2025 Grammy Awards, she detailed her highly anticipated project.
“I’m so excited. My bucket list is coming to fruition,” Jones said “It’s been a really long process because I’m really strict with myself.”
“I think my fans are in store for, of course, what they love from me. Those ballads, those vocally challenging moments,” she continued. “But I’m really trying to push the narrative of R&B. I love to perform. I love high energy. I love choreo. I want a world where they can both coexist. And I feel like R&B, to me, can be so flexible, and that’s what I’m trying to showcase and teach my audience.”
Jones also announced she’ll be going on tour in support of the project with special guest Lady London. Taking to Instagram, she shared her excitement about hitting the road.
“I’m going on tour y’all so excited to announce the Why Not More? Tour! Coming to a city near youuuu,” she wrote. “Pre-sale begins tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb 26 at 10 am local time. Click the link in my bio to sign up for the pre-sale titled “Tour Pre-Sale”. General on-sale begins on Friday, Feb 28, 10 am local time.”
Along with the album and tour, she is starring Hilary Banks in Bel-Air, Peacock’s reboot of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. In December 2024, the series was renewed for a fourth and final season.
