Suge Knight has reignited his feud with Snoop Dogg, questioning the legitimacy of his Death Row Records ownership while taking aim at his leadership.

In a recent interview with The Art of Dialogue, Knight responded to Snoop’s remarks about his alleged involvement in 2Pac’s 1996 murder, dismissing them as a diversion from the real issue. The former Death Row CEO accused Snoop of misrepresenting the circumstances of his acquisition and failing to uphold the label’s legacy.

“Snoop, you said I’m mad because you bought Death Row,” Suge Knight said. “What did you buy? Show me proof of payment. Show me the paperwork. Show me what you actually own.”

He went further, criticizing Snoop’s tenure at the label, claiming Death Row’s influence has faded under his leadership. “You’re trying to recreate what I built, but instead of elevating it, you’ve disappointed the world with flops,” he added.

Since purchasing Death Row from MNRK Music Group in 2022, Snoop has positioned himself as the label’s savior, determined to restore its former glory. Knight remains unconvinced, arguing that Snoop’s leadership has failed to produce hits or maintain the label’s once-dominant presence.

He contrasted their approaches, pointing to Death Row’s heyday when acts like Tha Dogg Pound sold millions. “When I dropped Tha Dogg Pound, they moved records,” he said. “You dropped a Dogg Pound album, and it flopped. You and Dre said you made the best album of your lives—we couldn’t tell because it disappeared overnight.”

Snoop has largely brushed off Knight’s criticisms, dismissing them as bitterness. On social media, he mocked the former mogul’s claims, writing, “This n#### won’t stop talking about me. Mad cuz I own Death Row. I realize your real lies.”

Knight escalated the attack by alleging that Ray J once told him Snoop admitted to financially backing 2Pac’s murder. He also claimed Snoop attempted to bail out Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the man currently charged in connection with the case. These accusations, however, remain unverified.

Beyond these bombshell claims, Knight accused Snoop of exploiting artists, saying he once signed an act under Death Row’s original structure with the intent of sending them to prison. He also insisted that Snoop still owes him money from a past business deal.

In Knight’s view, Snoop’s leadership is doing more harm than good, failing not just Death Row but hip-hop as a whole.
