In other news, Cam’ron recently shared his thoughts on aging actors and action films. In his opinion, the old-timers should ease up on the high-octane roles. Cam’ron has never been one to mince words. In May, the rapper joined CNN for probably one of its most chaotic interviews ever. When asked by a reporter about his thoughts on the controversy surrounding Diddy, he made it clear while he didn’t agree with his actions, he didn’t feel that it was his place to speak on the subject. He seemed more confused to why he was even asked to interview in the first place. “Who’s the talent agent for this joint? You think I be sitting around watching what Diddy do? I didn’t know this was a Diddy joint that y’all invited me to. Who booked me for this joint?”

The Instagram account for Cam’ron and Mase’s sports show, It Is What It Is, took shots at the journalist on Tuesday night, (December 31) for his remarks during an appearance on the Rory and Mal podcast.

On the show, Wilson said that podcasters like Cam’ron are thriving in the media. But they lack the education and credentials in journalism. He also said that  Cam is not better than he is, but gets clicks because of his celebrity status.

“Everybody’s media. Summer Walker is media. Cam’ron is running around like he’s Stephen A Smith. It’s what we’re doing,” Willson said.

When Wilson was asked if  Shannon Sharpe was a journalist, he argued that it was not a fair comparison.

Rory and Mal then asked why is it easier in music than in the sports realm.
