Jake Paul’s growing influence in the boxing world has hit a new milestone.

The upcoming release of the Problem Child DLC pack for Undisputed, a popular boxing video game, places Paul front and center among legendary fighters. This pack, debuting December 12, cements Paul’s position as both a mainstream star and a figure, forcing traditional boxing audiences to take notice.

The trailer for the DLC doesn’t reveal pricing but confirms a mix of free and paid content. Alongside Paul, the pack features heavyweight contenders Zhilei Zhang and Otto Wallin, as well as Mexican icons Juan Manuel Márquez, Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera, and former heavyweight champion James “Buster” Douglas. Additional bonuses include alternate ring attires for stars like Terence Crawford, Deontay Wilder, Vasily Lomachenko, and Roy Jones Jr., among others. However, fans hoping for Mike Tyson’s inclusion alongside Paul will have to wait, as Tyson remains absent from the game’s roster for now.

Paul’s involvement in Undisputed isn’t a surprise. In March, he hinted at his addition during an interview in Puerto Rico, where he spoke enthusiastically about the game, which had yet to launch on consoles. Since its October debut, Undisputed has sold over a million copies, though early gameplay flaws, including stamina issues and exploitative tactics, caused initial backlash. A recent update has addressed many of these problems, paving the way for smoother gameplay and new features.

The December update promises exciting additions, including new venues, enhanced animations for knockouts and knockdowns, and expanded career mode options like weight class movement. Fans will also get exclusive “Ring of Fire” outfits for Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk ahead of their highly anticipated rematch on December 21. Developers at Steel City Interactive have teased even more updates in early 2025, possibly including new arenas and a revamped career mode.

Paul’s presence in the game follows his headline-grabbing victory over Mike Tyson on November 15. The bout, which aired on Netflix, shattered viewership records, drawing 65 million concurrent viewers. The fight further established Paul as a divisive yet undeniable force in combat sports. With his knack for attracting attention from both casual fans and purists, Paul’s next moves in boxing remain a hot topic.

His rating in Undisputed has yet to be revealed, but it’s sure to spark debate. Fighters and fans alike may bristle if Paul’s in-game stats outshine those of established legends. For now, all eyes are on the December 12 DLC launch, which adds another layer to Jake Paul’s evolving legacy in the sport.
