Drake is planning for his next chapter.

Taking to Instagram, the “6 God” shared a post that left many wondering what the future holds for him.

“U know I grew up non-confrontational and always treated this game as a sport where my pen won gold, but my these days the podium has been hard for all of us to ignore,” he wrote.

“I understand that this next chapter may leave you feeling uneasy, but I hope you see my honesty as clarity, not charity that answers some questions especially about the unanswered texts you’ve been sending me,” the post continued.

Many speculated the post was aimed at his arch nemesis Kendrick Lamar. The two rap titans have been embroiled in one of hip-hop’s most bitter feuds.  While many declared K-Dot the unquestioned winner of the highly-anticipated duel after releasing “Not Like Us”, Drake made an unprecedented move by taking legal action against Universal Music Group, the label for both artists,  for defamation. The suit claims that UMG “approved, published, and launched a campaign to create a viral hit out of a rap track that falsely accuses Drake of being a pedophile and calls for violent retribution against him.”

In March, Judge Jeanette Vargas dismissed UMG’s request “to stall discovery in a defamation suit alleging it engineered a viral hit.”

“We are pleased with the Court’s decision to reject UMG’s continued attempts to stall discovery—another clear sign that UMG cannot run from or bury the truth,” Drake’s legal team said in a statement at the time. “This ruling, along with our motion for discovery in Texas yesterday, together represent major steps forward in holding UMG accountable to shareholders and artists for their repeated and egregious actions.”

On the music side, Drake dropped his first post-Kendrick beef album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, a collaborative album with fellow Canadian musician PartyNextDoor in February. This week, the album sold 90,000 units, coming in second behind Lamar’s GNX, which landed back at No. 1 with a total of 90,500 units sold.
