Drake isn’t backing down from his ongoing feud with NBA star DeMar DeRozan.

During the first Sydney stop on his Anita Max Wynn tour in Australia, a fan tossed a DeRozan jersey on stage as he performed “Rich Flex.” This is the second incident in which Drake slammed the NBA star.

At first, Drake smoothed out the fabric, but once he recognized the name, he made his feelings clear. Instead of tossing it aside, he treated it like a football, spiking it off the stage with force. The moment left no doubt that tensions between the two are still simmering.

Drake is no stranger to clothing being thrown at him during concerts. During his It’s All a Blur tour in 2023, he famously collected a vault’s worth of bras from fans. But this latest gesture carried a different message.

Despite the apparent tension, DeRozan has repeatedly downplayed any issues with Drake. However, his cameo in Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” video—after Drake’s lyrics referenced him—only fueled speculation about where his loyalties lie.

Meanwhile, Drake has plenty to celebrate. His new R&B album with PARTYNEXTDOOR is already generating massive buzz. Early projections suggest it will deliver strong streaming numbers, giving him yet another reason to keep his confidence high—whether or not DeRozan takes notice.

Over the weekend, Kendrick Lamar achieved several milestones, including the first-ever rapper to surpass 100 million monthly streams on Spotify and three albums among the top 10 of Billboard 200 simultaneously.

Kendrick Lamar will embark on the worldwide Grand National Tour in April. SZA will co-headline the tour. The duo just performed together at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
