According to Vibe, some X users argued that Offset only attracts women because of his past relationship with Cardi. The conversation heated up after rumors surfaced that he might be dating Atlanta model Melanie Jayda.
Screenshots of Melanie’s old tweets from 2018 and 2019 show her expressing love for Cardi B, with messages like, “I love Cardi B” and “Awe I love Cardi B!” This led one fan to suggest that Melanie had been “waiting in the wings,” while another accused Offset of only pulling women due to his past marriage. “Offset should feel like an as. He think he hurting Cardi when the only reason why he getting btches is because he was married to Cardi B. B*tches be thirsty and clout chasers.”
Offset wasn’t having it. He responded, “Incorrect lol I’m him,” making it clear he disagreed. The back-and-forth continued, with another user shading him over rumors that Cardi is moving on with NFL star Stefon Diggs. “Nothing hurts a n**** pride and ego more than watching a woman they fumbled multiple times leveling up the playing field with another man who is better looking and has more money than them.”
