As a true fashion icon of the early 2000s, Ciara teams up with the trendy online retailer Bebe to create a collection that’s sure to delver nostalgia.
On Tuesday (September 24), the “Goodies” singer unveiled the bebe x Ciara Fall 2024 capsule collection, taking the lead as Creative Director alongside Bebe.
The collection boasts an impressive 156 items, spanning dresses, denim, sportswear, accessories, and more, all available in sizes XS to XL—so there’s something fabulous for everyone! Plus, with styles priced under $299, your wallet can breathe easy while you update your wardrobe.
“I’ve had somewhat of a long history with the brand,” the singer tells PEOPLE. “Especially in high school, Bebe was one of those brands that was a staple in my closet … I felt like they always were able to give you that pizazz that was affordable.”
“With this collection, you have range,” Ciara said, highlighting her creative vision. “You have everything that you need to dress down and be super cool and effortless, and to also dress up and go out for a night with your girls or date night. Everything you need is in this collection, which was important to me.”
She continued, “”If you’re trying to dress to impress, you can be ready. If you want to be comfy [there are] the classic velour sweats that we’ve always loved.”
Overall, Cici wants fans to soak up that “Y2K energy” with her new collection, explaining: “I wanted to make sure we’re still tapping into now in the new, but again, those core aesthetics we’ve always loved about bebe was really important to me. So I wanted to make sure that we incorporated that in this new collection. And she is edgy, she is sleek, she is fun, she’s vibrant, she’s confident, she’s bold, she’s cool, she’s that girl.”
Ciara has been a busy bee as of late. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine, Ciara opened up about the joy of having her family join her on the summer tour for the Out of This World — The Missy Elliott Experience with legends like Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes, and Timbaland. The “Level Up” singer, 38, expressed her gratitude for her husband, Russell Wilson, and their kids—Sienna Princess, 7, Win Harrison, 4, Amora Princess, 9 months, and Future Zahir, 10—being by her side.
Despite the juggling act of a football season and a busy tour, Wilson made time to join her, creating unforgettable memories. Ciara shared, “Every day is nonstop, but it’s chaotic, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. So, first summer with four is crazy, but we’re doing all right. We’re making it happen.”
She added, “It was just incredible,” describing how her kids had a blast with her fellow performers. “They were like little precious babies of a tour having so much fun with Auntie Missy and Uncle Busta. The energy was just incredible.”
