According to reports, Diddy‘s legal team plans to drop all plans of attaining bail. The mogul has made three attempted appeals, all of which have failed. Nonetheless, Diddy’s attorneys sought bail on September 30 after Judge Andrew Carter decided he will stay behind bars until his racketeering and sex trafficking trial in May 2025. Carter’s ruling only continued the opening verdict made a month prior by a different judge, Robyn Tarnofsky.
The bail attempt was postponed in October after the mogul vouched multiple times, while the case received a new judge, Arun Subramanian. In November, Subramanian ruled for Diddy to stay in prison, recalling his “prosperity for violence.” After numerous attempts, Puff’s attorney, Alexandra Shapiro, submitted documents opting out of all bail efforts. Additionally, the document included plans to “withdraw and voluntarily dismiss the appeal.”
Diddy Continues Ongoing legal battles
In other reports, the mogul continues to receive more sexual assault allegations. On Thursday, December 12, three men filed a lawsuit accusing Diddy of drugging and raping them. Allegedly, all occurrences between 2019 and 2022 contained a “frighteningly consistent” pattern of spiking their drinks in either his house or hotel room, resulting in the attack.
Diddy’s lawyers responded, stating, “These complaints are full of lies. We will prove them false and seek sanctions against every unethical lawyer who filed fictional claims against him.”
