While at a ‘Past Present Future’ tour stop, Usher was serenading the crowd as he kneels down with the intent of putting a cherry in Halle’s mouth. Her boyfriend, DDG, quickly steps in and blocks that interaction.

DDG captioned the now viral video, “Usher tried to give Halle a cherry in front of me,” along with three laughing emojis. “AHT AHT he was so smooth with it !” commented one fan. “Usher think he slicker than baby oil ain’t it DDG said Aht aht” reacted another.

Usher has yet to respond to the interaction.

The couple gave birth to their first child Halo in Jan, 2024.

“Halo is a miracle. He is perfect. He is beautiful. When I look at him, I cry because of how special he is” Halle explains. “The only thing that’s been hard for me is feeling normal in my own body. Halle has been candid about how postpartum depression has affected her. No stranger to rap feuds in general, Coi has sparred with the likes of Latto, Eminem, and even her father, Benzino.

On the music front, recalling guidance from her former label, Republic Records, Coi recently revealed she was nudged to embrace her inner pop diva, taking cues from the likes of Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.

“I’m not on Republic Records no more, I’m on Island [Records],” she said, during a livestream. “When I dropped Blue Moon, Republic — they wanted pop shit. They wanted some Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande shit, which I can do, but I still like to work on my own pace and my own time, and I’m still, like, developing and learning and my own sound and shit …

Yachty’s remarks come as Washington, D.C.’s Black Lives Matter Plaza undergoes reconstruction. In 2022, Kanye West made mutliple discriminatory comments about the Jewish community. Following the fallout and loss of brand deals, the rapper seemingly leaned deeper into antisemitism. Earlier this month, the rapper dropped a controversial track titled, “Heil Hitler (HH).” However, it seems something inspired the rapper to change his tune.

In other news, Kanye West recently shared his displeasure with Kid Cudi, following his testimony in the ongoing Diddy RICO trial.

In an X post on Saturday (May 24), West stated, “I wish Cudi hadn’t testified against Puff. We need to not be locked in white systems. Praying for Puff and his family.”

Kid Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, took the stand on May 22, 2025, detailing a series of incidents from 2011. He testified that after he began a relationship with Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s then-girlfriend, Combs allegedly broke into his home and later orchestrated the firebombing of his Porsche using a Molotov cocktail. Cudi described a subsequent confrontation where Combs exhibited a menacing demeanor, likening him to a “Marvel supervillain.”

Following his testimony, Cudi expressed relief, stating, “I’ve been seeing all the love and support. I just wanna say thank you so much, man… This is a stressful situation. I’m glad it’s behind me.”

The “Did it First” rapper popped out to the Victoria Secret Fashion Show rocking a short jet black afro. Fans were caught by surprise as we are used to seeing the Bronx artist wearing a copper colored afro.

Ice Spice defends Herself:

During a previous interview with Teen Vogue, Ice responded to claims that her success is based off of her skin tone. “I have seen those opinions,” she said, before adding, “I feel like that’s not something personal to me. I feel like that’s been the conversation for generations and forever, since the beginning of time.” She continued, “I try not to feed into negativity because I also see that when people are trying to make that point, it’s not out of a good place. [They end up putting] somebody else down.”

“I’m most proud of staying grounded so far because I’ve already been through so many things that I know a lot of people would’ve lost their f*cking minds,” she explained. “The whole lifestyle change is super drastic, especially coming from where I come from, not coming from sh*t and not having a lot growing up, to now — it’s the complete opposite…. Taking to Instagram, Mensa lauded Kehlani for her bold support of Palestine following two of her shows being cancelled.

Mensa went on to say that he remained silent on the issue because of financial concerns and his growing family. In February,  he announced the birth of his son Mansa Musa Mensa.

In April, Kehlani was slated to perform today at the annual Slope Day concert at Cornell University, but the show was canceled because Michael I. Kotlikoff, the university’s president, said the decision to have her perform “injected division and discord.”

In the aftermath of the cancellation at Cornell, Kehlani released a statement clarifying that her views are not antisemitic.

“I’m not antisemitic or anti-Jew,” the singer said. “I’m anti-genocide, anti-actions of the Israeli government, anti-extermination of entire people, anti-bombing of innocent children, men, and women. That’s what I’m anti.”

On Tuesday, Mayor Eric Adams announced that Kehlani’s SummerStage concert has been canceled because of security concerns, due to her pro-Palestine views.

In the call, West suggested that Doechii’s rapid ascent was not purely organic, implying major labels and executives orchestrated her success behind the scenes rather than it stemming from genuine fan support.

West, known for his unfiltered critiques of the music industry, expressed skepticism about artists who achieve sudden prominence without what he views as grassroots credibility. Referring to Doechii, he claimed, “They’re pushing her heavy without the people really choosing her first.”

His comment reflects a broader tension in hip-hop, where authenticity and origin stories are often scrutinized, especially for newcomers who receive early industry co-signs or large promotional budgets.

Doechii, signed to Top Dawg Entertainment and Capitol Records, has steadily gained attention through breakout singles and high-profile performances. Yet Kanye’s accusation feeds into a long-running narrative that questions the legitimacy of artists who seem to skip traditional, independent routes to fame. His statement also highlights ongoing generational rifts, as older icons sometimes bristle at the ways newer talents are marketed and packaged in the digital era.

Neither Doechii nor her team has publicly responded to West’s comments. However, fans have defended her, citing her years of independent work before signing major deals. Some critics, meanwhile, argue that even if labels support an artist, that backing does not negate genuine talent or fan engagement.

According to TMZ, documents state that Teyana claims Iman does not do a good job parenting their two children, by reportedly not feeding the two girls and smoking weed around them.

Stated in the documents the former NBA player, “consistently demonstrates a clear disregard for the safety of the minor children.” Teyana detailed an incident where Iman allegedly put their children in a rideshare in Chicago which dropped them off at the United Center unaccompanied while he had a private driver take him separately to the same place.

We previously reported that Iman Shumpert and Teyana Taylor has decided to call it quits after their 10-year relationship. “We’ve been able to successfully and peacefully separate without all of the outside noise.
