Iggy Azalea added podcaster to her resume with the announcement of a new show.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 34-year-old entertainer launched the “Mother Knows Best” podcast on Thursday (July 11). The new podcast is in collaboration with podcast publisher The Volume. “Mother Knows Best” will explore the dynamic worlds of pop culture and business, delving into the lives of chart-topping musicians and pioneering CEOs.

“I’m excited to start filming ‘Mother Knows Best’ and stirring the pot in the way only I can,” Azalea said. “For a long time, conversations in pop culture have become stagnant and overly cautious. I can’t wait to start a fire and blaze a trail with The Volume.”

The Volume, founded by Colin Cowherd in 2021, is a digital media company that includes an a-list roster stars such as Cowherd, Shannon Sharpe, Draymond Green, Chad Ochocinco, Jeff Teague, Richard Sherman, and Daniel Cormier.  “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Iggy to The Volume,” said Logan Swaim, The Volume CCO, in a press release. “Iggy has influenced entertainment in so many ways – as an artist, in business, and as a content creator. She’s exactly the type of voice that we look for – completely original and authentic.”

In June 2024, Azalea expanded her presence in the crypto market by launching her meme coin, Mother Iggy, or $MOTHER. Leveraging her 7.7 million followers on X (formerly Twitter) and other social media platforms, she has promoted the $MOTHER token as a viral online phenomenon.

Her other tech ventures include DreamVault, a digital gifting platform, and Unreal Mobile, a phone service where $MOTHER tokens can be used to purchase devices and monthly data plans.
