Jamie Foxx has publicly addressed and debunked conspiracy theories suggesting that Sean “Diddy” Combs was involved in his 2023 medical emergency.

In a recent roundtable discussion with The Hollywood Reporter, Foxx clarified that his hospitalization was due to a stroke caused by a brain bleed, stating, “No, Puffy didn’t try to kill me.” He emphasized that despite being in excellent health, he suffered a serious medical event that required immediate surgery.

Foxx also humorously addressed the bizarre rumor that he had been cloned, which he found particularly unsettling. While recovering in the hospital, he joked about the conspiracy, saying, “When they said I was a clone, that made me flip. I’m sitting in the hospital bed, like, ‘These b—- a– motherf—ers are trying to clone me.’”

In his Netflix stand-up special, What Had Happened Was, Foxx further dismissed the rumors, jesting about leaving Diddy’s parties early because “something didn’t look right,” referencing the controversial nature of those events.

Foxx’s candid and humorous approach aims to set the record straight, emphasizing that his health crisis was a medical issue unrelated to any external conspiracies.
