Tour Dates Announced as Wiz Sparks Flat Earth Debate in Joe Budden Interview
Scheduled ahead of the Good Vibes Only Tour, Wiz is set to also begin the Taylor Gang World Tour throughout May and June, which spans across 20 locations. The lineup will also include Chevy Woods, Fedd the God, and DJ Bonics.
Shifting focus, Wiz Khalifa recently drew attention for publicly endorsing the widely debunked conspiracy theory that the Earth is flat. Other notable figures like Kyrie Irving and B.O.B. have also endorsed this theory. Nonetheless, he voiced his take on the matter in a recent interview on the Joe Budden Podcast. When asked by Melyssa Ford about this topic, he stated, “I would say no.” Wiz continued, “I just believe that we live on a flat plane, like a huge flat plane.”
The “We Dem Boyz” rapper then explained how his beliefs came to light. “It’s only because I’ve traveled so much,” he voiced. “Because when I travel, the routes that we take and how we do it, it’s not possible to go up and down. You’re just going straight. That’s the only reason I think that.” He then began sharing his doubts about the narratives of space exploration: “I don’t believe in space exploration at all. I don’t believe that they explore space as much as they say that they do.”
