Ye (formally known as Kanye West) abruptly ended his brief truce with Drake by launching a new track from his upcoming album, WW3. This development unfolds following a recent livestream session with producer Digital Nas, who offered fans a glimpse of the provocative song titled “Heil Hitler.”

The lyrics of this controversial track have sparked significant backlash, with Ye rapping lines that have drawn sharp criticism, such as, “N-ggas be acting like f-ggots, I think they might be Drake.” The song’s incendiary refrain of “Heil Hitler” is accompanied by other contentious phrases like “All my n-ggas Nazis, Heil Hitler,” and “They don’t understand the things I say on Twitter.” In a tweet that accompanied the preview, Digital Nas proclaimed the track as a potential “Song of the Year,” stirring further debate about the implications of such provocative statements in contemporary hip-hop culture.

Ye reveals heartbreak and control as album delay fuels anticipation

In addition to “Heil Hitler,” the album features a track named “Bianca,” where West opens up about the breakdown of his marriage with Bianca Censori. The lyrics reveal his struggles with her departure, pleading for reconciliation with lines like, “come back to me.” He also expresses his emotional distress, rapping over a soulful sample about sleepless nights and the panic his wife is experiencing due to his public outbursts.

The candid nature of his lyrics extends to confessing that Censori attempted to have him hospitalized, leading him to track her whereabouts via his mobile device. The vivid imagery in his lines, “I’m tracking my b*tch through an app,” alludes to a modern-day relationship dynamic that has garnered mixed reactions from listeners. WW3 is set to feature a range of other contentious tracks, including titles like “Free Diddy,” “Virgil Let Me Down,” “Cosby,” “Nitrous,” and “Hitler Ye and Jesus.” Notably, the album will include a collaboration with Dave Blunts, whom Ye has recently dubbed his “favorite rapper.”

Originally slated for release on April 3, the exact delivery date of the album remains uncertain, leaving fans eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the mogul’s unpredictable musical journey. The relationship between Kanye West and Drake has oscillated between collaboration and rivalry over the years. The pair initially enjoyed a fruitful partnership with tracks like “Forever” and “Find Your Love.” However, their relationship soured, particularly after a joint concert in 2021, during which Ye accused Drake of having an affair with his then-wife, Kim Kardashian.
