Rihanna‘s next baby name has become a big bet in Las Vegas.

The icon confirmed his third child is on the way this month at the Met Gala. While the couple have not revealed the name of their forthcoming child, Sin City has some predictions with big odds.

A new VegasInsider study points to “Rebel” as the most likely name for Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s next child.

The analysis, based on thousands of lyrics from both artists sourced via Genius, used a predictive model to identify baby names that align with their creative themes. Researchers ranked names by lyrical frequency, stylistic fit, and cultural tone, assigning betting odds and implied probabilities.

Rebel” leads with -120 odds and a 54.5% implied probability, far ahead of other contenders like “Rogue,” “Royal,” “Rayne,” and “Ryder.” The name not only appears often in their lyrics but also fits the bold naming pattern set by their first two children: RZA“, a tribute to the Wu-Tang Clan pioneer, andRiot,” a name charged with intensity and cultural depth. All three begin with “R” and reflect a strong, disruptive spirit.

More than just a lyrical trend, Rebel captures the couple’s artistic identity. It echoes themes of freedom, defiance, and authenticity — hallmarks of both artists’ music and public image. According to a VegasInsider spokesperson, the name repeatedly emerged in Rihanna’s catalog, especially in songs exploring independence and self-expression.

While other names offer style or elegance, Rebel carries purpose. It resonates with fans and mirrors the pair’s legacy in hip-hop culture. If their past choices are any guide, Rebel isn’t just a top prediction — it’s a natural extension of their vision.

Rihanna promised that R9 is still in the works. She told the press that she can still sing.
