Lil Baby is gearing up for a massive world tour in support of his latest album, WHAM, bringing along some heavy hitters for the ride. The Atlanta rapper announced the tour dates on Tuesday, February 18th, confirming that NLE Choppa, BigXthaPlug, and Loe Shimmy will be joining him as special guests.
The tour kicks off on June 3rd in Houston, covering major U.S. cities before wrapping up on July 1st. After a short break, Lil Baby will take the tour international, with performances in Europe set for September and a run in Australia in October. BigXthaPlug will perform at all U.S. shows except Los Angeles and will also join Lil Baby in Australia. Meanwhile, NLE Choppa is scheduled for all U.S. dates except Miami, and Loe Shimmy will be present at every domestic stop.
Tickets officially go on sale Friday, February 21st, giving fans a chance to catch the WHAM experience live. One of the most highly anticipated stops includes Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on June 18th.
While Lil Baby is preparing to take his music around the world, his latest project has sparked mixed reactions. Neal Carter, Lil Wayne’s 15-year-old son, made headlines last month when he shared his thoughts on WHAM during a livestream. When a fan suggested he collaborate with Lil Baby, he didn’t hold back, calling the album “terrible” while clarifying that he doesn’t think Lil Baby himself is a bad artist.
Despite the criticism, Lil Baby is moving full speed ahead, bringing his latest music to fans across multiple continents. With a stacked lineup and global reach, the WHAM tour is shaping up to be one of the biggest hip-hop events of the year.
