Since his arrest on federal charges in September 2024, Sean “Diddy” Combs has seen his empire unravel.

Music deals have stalled, fashion ventures vanished, and liquor partnerships walked away. Yet, one asset continues to bring in millions: his $60 million private jet.

The 14-seat Gulfstream G550, once a symbol of Combs’ luxury lifestyle, is now rented out for elite charter flights. Operated by Silver Air and listed on broker sites like Jettly, the jet flies without revealing its infamous owner. Most clients booking the sleek black aircraft have no idea it belongs to the jailed Bad Boy Records founder.

Since his arrest in Manhattan, the jet has been chartered 126 times, racking up over 149,000 miles—roughly six trips around the world. Each flight averages 1,186 miles, close to the distance between Los Angeles and Dallas. At $32,597 per booking, the aircraft has earned over $4.1 million in just eight months.

Registered under LOVEAIR LLC and stationed at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, the G550 remains one of Combs’ last profitable ventures. He even offered it as collateral in a failed $50 million bail proposal, rejected by Judge Arun Subramanian. But the jet keeps flying, offering him a rare stream of income as lawsuits and investigations close in.

The environmental impact, however, is immense. The aircraft has burned through nearly 137,000 gallons of jet fuel and released over 1,700 metric tons of carbon dioxide. While the jet earns quietly, it leaves behind a loud carbon footprint.

In the wake of scandal, Diddy’s influence in music and media has faded. Collaborators have distanced themselves. Brands have cut ties. Fans question his legacy. Yet the Gulfstream G550 keeps soaring—an emblem of opulence that continues to profit, even as its owner’s reputation crashes.

For now, it remains the last part of Diddy’s empire that’s still in motion.
