Travis Scott has made it clear he’s not done with WWE after facing backlash for his role in the brutal attack on Cody Rhodes at Elimination Chamber. The rapper, who appeared alongside The Rock and John Cena, helped orchestrate a shocking beatdown that left the WWE Champion with a burst eardrum and severe bruising.

Scott’s involvement has drawn criticism from wrestling fans and insiders, including WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray. Outraged by the injuries sustained by Rhodes, Bully Ray didn’t hold back on Busted Open Radio. “Travis Scott deserves to have his jaw shattered and wired shut,” he said. “It’s when a mark in the ring suddenly thinks he’s a pro wrestler and knows what the hell he’s doing. And that mark is Travis Scott.”
Scott has since responded, dismissing the criticism and even threatening to retaliate against Bully Ray. While he remains unconfirmed for any upcoming WWE events, reports suggest he’s undergoing wrestling training. His unexpected appearance in one of the most significant storylines in recent WWE history has already made an impact.
Despite the controversy, The Rock has stood by Scott, praising his dedication to wrestling culture. Speaking at the Elimination Chamber post-show, he emphasized Scott’s passion for the business. “Travis loves pro wrestling. He’s a culture guy,” The Rock said. “He’s already one of the greatest. A GOAT, a legend, an icon. Some just want to enjoy the show, but others want to get involved. Travis deeply wants to be involved.”
The Rock also hinted that Scott’s presence in WWE could be more than a one-time spectacle. “We had an opportunity to create one of the biggest moments in pro wrestling,” he continued. “Bringing in Travis Scott was part of forming a union—an alliance with The Final Boss and Travis Scott.”
With The Rock and Cena expected to appear on WWE’s European tour, speculation is growing over Scott’s next move in the ring.
