Young Scooter’s death has officially been ruled an accident, according to the Atlanta Police and the Fulton County Medical Examiner. The autopsy confirms that the rapper suffered a fatal injury to his right thigh after jumping a wooden fence while fleeing from police, contradicting Young Thug’s claims that his friend was shot. Now, the woman at the center of the 911 call that led to the tragic incident is speaking out with a completely different version of events.
Demi Blanco, the 911 caller and Baddies star on Zeus Network, went live on Instagram Tuesday, saying she’s been unfairly targeted by social media over Scooter’s death. She now insists she called 911 to “protect herself,” despite previously telling emergency responders on March 28th that a naked woman was being beaten outside an Atlanta home.
Adding to the confusion, Demi describes herself as “a woman” who has been a victim of abuse multiple times. However, her statements have raised doubts, especially since she struggled to clearly describe the alleged attacker to the 911 dispatcher. Atlanta police found no evidence backing Demi’s claims. However, they did come across Scooter and another man before the rapper tried to escape. He ultimately suffered a fatal injury when he jumped the fence.
Authorities remain firm that no shots were fired, but Young Thug isn’t convinced. He’s pointing fingers at Atlanta PD’s gang investigator, Marissa Viverito, accusing her of hiding crucial details about Scooter’s death. It’s unclear if she’s directly involved in this case. However, her past testimony in Thug’s YSL trial, where Scooter had shown his support, has fueled speculation.
TMZ reported that on Tuesday, April 1st, Demetria Spencer was arrested by Atlanta Police. She is also known as Demi Blanco. She was charged with Transmitting a False Public Alarm.
